Udaipur World Music Festival in Udaipur

More than 100 musicians from over 12 countries including Spain, Ghana, Venezuela, Italy, France and India assembled in Udaipur for the Udaipur World Music Festival.

Organised by Hindustan Zinc in association with Wonder Cement and Rajasthan Tourism, the event was the first edition of India's first World Music Festival. Conceptualised and produced by cultural organisation SEHER, the festival also marked 60 years old diplomatic relations between Spain and India. Eternal Mewar and HRH Group of Hotels supported the event. Jagmandir Island Palace, Udaipur was offered as venue for the morning meditative concerts.

On 13th February 2016 Jagmandir Island Palace witnessed Sensi Kaoru Kakizakai and Pandit Kailash Sharma (Symphony of Breath - Shakuhachi and Bansuri Flutes Duet) Japan and India, Sudha Raghuraman - Music of saints of India in Carnatik Style, Jasser Haj Youssef and Shambhunath Battacharjee (Sting Meditation - Viola Di Amore recital with table, Tunisia).
