Thursday, 11th June 2020: Evidence and Truth -For the theme of Evidence and Truth, the Museum spoke about accession numbers, and the ability to find objects based on rather simple mix of numbers. The accession number is a unique number that exists for each object in the collection, and which is accompanied by a set of brief details, and identity markers, which thereby serves a larger task of providing evidence towards legal ownership, and helps establish the truth about the concerned objects.

Friday, 12th June 2020: Climate Change and Heritage Considering the immense value of heritage sources, it is necessary to have appropriate systems in place to ensure minimal fluctuations in temperature, humidity, etc. while maintaining and monitoring the prescribed range. The theme of climate change and heritage in context of archives was addressed in contexts of climate control and the health of the artefacts.

Saturday, 13th June 2020: Open Standards and Open Tools For this theme, the Museum most importantly spoke about The Museum System; an application for Collection Management that is built upon an open-architecture database, compliant with the Open Archives Initiative (OAI) thus ensuring interoperability.

Sunday, 14th June 2020: The Future of the profession After a week-long of acquaintance with the archives, the Museum left its audiences with a positive take on the future of the profession; as one with immense scope for growth, research and refinement, exchange of ideas and information through collaborations, and increased access through use of digital technology. The Museum also left its viewers with the question on what they, the audience, thought the future looked like?

Summer Splash with Summer Scribbles - The Museum reached out and collaborated with several artists, including Ms. Sefi George, Founder, Summer Scribbles. Through small bite-sized tutorials, she showed the viewers how to paint, for example, a glass window from The City Palace Museum, Udaipur, using water colours, or the beautiful skyline at Chandra Chowk

A Musical Throwback Thursday, with the Palace Band - The concept of a Palace band was known to be in existence in as early as the 18th century, under the reign of Maharana Bheem Singh (r. 1778-1828 CE). The tradition has continued down into the 21st century with the present band, as highlighted through the photograph, was founded by Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar, on 8th May 1988! Captivating audiences with that interesting piece of information from history, the Museum did yet another one of its throwbacks.
