Day 3: Together - The City Palace Museum, Udaipur social media pages have always tried to bring in a fun element along with facts and anecdotes from history.

Day 3 focused on #TogetherMuseumWeek during which a "Spot The Difference" game was made available to viewers. The image was very simple yet received massive response across platforms with lots of people answering the hidden query. The purpose was to encourage people to look for the finer details, and have an appreciation of the same.

Day 4: Museum Moments - Taking forward the engagement plan with audience, the "Museum Moments" was used to connect with the followers and others, and encourage them to to share their special and memorable moments from their visit to the Museum.

The social platforms received an amazing response from students, visitors, bloggers and influencers who shared selfies, videos and stories from their visits.

The huge participation and views on page helped the Museum's social media presence and led to growth in fan base

Day 5: Climate Change - Climate change has been a hot topic for the last few years and Day 5 of Museum Week was dedicated to the various aspects of climate change. The Museum's effort was towards creating awareness on how over the years various changes in the global as well as local climate and ecology have impacted the surroundings and living conditions.

Pictures from past conditions of the dry Fateh Sagar Lake were used to highlight the message, to sensitize people on their role to safeguard nature and its wonders.

Day 6: Museum Technology - The conservators, Ms. Anuja Mukherjee and Ms. Bhasha Shah displayed through a simple tutorial video, ways through which one can preserve heirlooms using everyday household supplies. The video was appreciated by various international and national groups like Museum Week Official, The Heritage Lab and more. The Museum's pages received more than 2000 views in less than 24 hours along with good engagement on the page and the video overall.

Day 7: Dreams -For the last day's theme on dreams, the Museum spoke about The Museum of Tomorrow, the way The City Palace Museum, Udaipur envisages it, in a world post Covid. Dr. Shikha Jain, Consultant-MMCF, Director, Dronah, spoke on the strategic planning that has been adopted on part of the Museum, in view of tomorrow.

International Museum Day Special- Indian Sign Language Tutorials

In keeping with ICOM's theme of Museums for Equality: Diversity & Inclusion, for International Museum Day, and The City Palace Museum, Udaipur's commitment towards accessibility, the Museum tied up with Viklang Kalyan Samiti School, Udaipur, to curate a series of weekly tutorials in Indian Sign Language.
