Panel Discussion on 'Museums, Heritage and the Cities: The Pandemic and a Digital Future' On the occasion of International Museums Day, 18th May 2020, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur, along with several Indian Museums, collaborated with The ArtX Company for a 'Ghar se Museum' event. Joining The City Palace Museum, Udaipur for a panel discussion were Ms. Joyoti Roy, from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS), Mumbai and Ms. Alisha Sadikot of the Inheritage Project. The panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Rashmi Dhanwani, Founder, The ArtX Company. Representing The City Palace Museum, Udaipur at this panel was Dr. Shikha Jain, Consultant-MMCF, Director, Dronah. Ms. Chelsea Santos coordinated the session on behalf of the Museum. In order to give the virtual audience a sense of connect, despite the situation, a day-wise exploration of The City Palace Museum, Udaipur was set into place. Each day, a new area, with interesting details was showcased using a 3D video that was prepared in association with the State Government a couple of years ago. |
The idea was to re-purpose existing content while still connecting with and taking the Museum to the audiences.
