Restoration and renovation work of Room at Northern facade of Zenana Mahal

The Room of Northern facade of Lakshmi Chowk in Zenana Mahal was found damaged, due to inspection by project team MMCF. The restoration work was started on 22nd January 2018.

Visit of His Majesty King Letsie III, King of Lesotho

On 1st January 2018, His Majesty King Letsie III, King of Lesotho and family visited the City Palace Museum, Udaipur. His Majesty was greeted by Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Administrator in Chief, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur. He was briefed about the vast history of Mewar and the heritage conservation that is going around.

The family visited the Amar Mahal Gallery: Splendour of Silver - Reflecting the finest of Silver Smithy. They praised the wonderful collection and put in their views in the visitors book.

The guests were greeted and taken for a tour by Mr. Yogesh Sharma, Manager, Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Kala Trust, Udaipur.
