Participation at Conservation Framing Seminar 2016
A Conservation Framing Seminar 2016 was organised by Om Mouldings, Crescent, TruVue and LINECO at Coomaraswamy Hall, Prince Of Wales Museum, Mumbai.
Eminent speakers and experts from USA Ms. Jennifer Booth, (TruVue), Mr. Wolfgang (Crescent) and Ms. Kathleen Schaefer (Crescent) attended the seminar. Presentations were on all the right technique of making a conservation frame and discussions were held on "Why is conservation framing imperative for valuable art work!" Several discussions were held on archival framing materials (Mount Boards, Tapes, Museum quality glass, Papers (acid free quality, conservation quality, museum quality) etc. This seminar was to introduce us to the best products and practices for conservation in framing.
Mr. Prashant Lohar, Archives and Conservation Assistant, Museum Archives of the Maharanas of Mewar attended the seminar on behalf of MMCF.
