Painting Exhibition: 'Udaipur - An Eternal Beauty' by Artist Anurag Mehta

Artist Anurag Mehta held a 3-day water colour painting exhibition to celebrate the beauty and heritage of Udaipur titled 'Udaipur - An Eternal Beauty'. The exhibition was held at The City Palace's Chhota Darikhana at Ganesh Chowk.

The exhibition showcased prime tourism and historically significant spots of Udaipur like City Palace, Lake Palace, Gangaur Ghat, Saheliyon ki Badi, Jagmandir, etc. A total of 30 paintings bringing alive these places in water colours were put up on display. The exhibition was supported by MMCF.

Visit of Members of Arushi Sansthan

The members of Arushi Sansthan, an organization based in Bhopal, which is working to develop capacities in people with disabilities, working children and other disadvantaged groups so as to empower them to make their own life choices and lead a better life were greeted at The City Palace Museum by Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Administrator in Chief, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur. An incredible effort was put in by the members of Arushi Sansthan as they have converted the official guide book of the City Palace Museum, Udaipur 'The walk through history' in braille for free of charge.

Children's Day- 2016 at The City Palace Museum

MMCF with Mrtyand Foundation organised different activities to celebration Children's Day this year. Heritage Walk for Haring Impaired Children was organised where the students of Deaf and Dumb School and Blind School, Ambamata where taken for a Heritage Walk starting from The Promenade Fountain to the Moti Chowk.

Heritage Walk for Visually Impaired Children was also organised from Choumukha and thereafter inauguration of The Braille version of the Book "A Walk through History" by Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa.

Students from both the schools presented Cultural Programme at Choumukha, Lakshmi Chowk.
