Hariyali Amavas Procession at The City

Hariyali Amavasya is a monsoon festival celebrated on Amavasya or 'no moon' in Shravan month (as per the hindu calendar) in North India. Lord Shiva is worshipped on this day for wealth and prosperity in the hope of a great agricultural season to follow. A procession took off from Tripoliya to Rameshwer Ghat in The City Palace, Udaipur.

Independence Day 2016 at MMPS and MMVM
On 15th August, the first rays of sun fills every Indian with pride, joy, patriotism and celebration of Independence Day brings cheer and happiness to every heart.
With Colonel Manoj Thakur, Officiating Administrative Commandment, Udaipur Military Station as Chief Guest, MMPS celebrated India's 70th Independence Day at The Kothar Ground, Udaipur. Prestigious Flag hoisting was followed by inspection of Marching Contingents, a colourful cultural presentation and felicitations. Scholarships were awarded to students for their academic excellence.
MMPS celebrated the day with students, teachers and parents at the school playgrounds. Students carried the National Flag while rolling on skates and hoisted the Indian tricolour to kick-start the cultural program. It was followed by a yoga performance display, poetry in praise of motherland and dances based on 'Desh Raag'.
An exhibition was also put up displaying all the art and craft work done by students to celebrate the national festival.
