Participation of MMCF at the laser technology demonstration workshop
The first ever demonstration of the laser technology in field of conservation in India was done by the Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha, Pune at Radha Radha Soami Temple, Dayal Bagh Road, Agra. The demo was scheduled between 8th and 9th August, 2016. In two days seminar first day was focused on live demonstration of laser cleaning which included hands on experience for the participants in cleaning of marble surface in Temple premises. The next day was a lecture by the Ph. D. Alessandro Zanini who had worked in the field of Laser Technology for past 25 years. He presented his work on Laser cleaning and application of cultural heritage conservation.
The facilitators of the workshop were from Pune, Agra and Paris. They possessed an elaborate experience in conservation of materials like stone, wooden artefact, textile and paintings. Delegates were from different museums, institutions of Delhi and Pune which led to an insightful exchange of thoughts and techniques. Mr. Nikhil Tamboli, Assistant Architect, Projects, MMCF and Mr. Omkar S Adhikari, Conservation Architect, Project, MMCF attended the Seminar as MMCF representatives.

Tricolour your creativity, a painting Event by MMCF
Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation organised a painting event on 15 August on the occasion of 70th Independence Day. The event titled as “Tricolour your creativity” is being organised to ignite the feeling of patriotism within the students.
The event was to all school going children and was held at the City Palace Museum from 10 am till 4 pm.
The event was open to all school going children who visited the museum on the day during the time slot.
Colours and drawing sheets were provided by the administration at different spots in the City Palace Museum.

CSR Live Week conference on 'CSR for Social Good and its impact'
Ms. Vrinda Raje Singh, CEO - Joint Custodianship Initiative, MMCF participated in the “6th edition of CSR Show - CSR Live Week” held on 30 -31 August 2016 at World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai on behalf of Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, The City Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The two day annual conference highlighted the latest developments and future opportunities in CSR & Sustainability. The event was an assembly of India's Strongest and Socially Responsible Brands, Corporate Foundations, Charitable trusts & Social Entrepreneurs. All Foundations, Corporations and Business Houses participated in this capacity building forum, to discuss and evaluate their CSR Efforts and Social Initiatives.
