Special Cover on 'The City Palace, Udaipur' and a Special Cancellation depicting 'Mor Chowk' released by Udaipur Division, Rajasthan Circle, Department of Posts, Government of Rajasthan

A three day Fourth District Level Philatelic Exhibition UDAIPEX 2014 – Exhibition of Postal Stamps began at Suchana Kendra, Mohatta Park, Chetak Circle, Udaipur, Rajasthan organised by Udaipur Division, Rajasthan Circle, Department of Posts, Government of Rajasthan.

The Exhibition displayed rare collection of stamps and coins, few among them as old as from the year 1852. Around 12 Senior and 5 Junior Post Masters participated in the Exhibition. The exhibition was supported by Philately and Numismatic Societies of Udaipur.

In the exhibition a special cover showcasing 'The City Palace, Udaipur' and a Special Cancellation depicting 'Mor Chowk' situated at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur was released. Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Deputy Secretary MMCF – Administration, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation and Dr. Mayank Gupta Deputy Secretary – Development, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation represented the MMCF at the releasing ceremony.
