The Hon'ble minister was in Udaipur to attend the 9th Meeting of Consultative Committee of Members of Parliament for Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India on Operation and Maintenance of National Highways action plan and issues.

Events of the month
World Travel Market (WTM) at London
HRH Group of Hotels participated at the WTM that took place from the 7th - 10th November 2011 at Excel, a major Exhibition Centre in the City of London.
This event, held annually is where deals are negotiated that will ultimately decide which destinations appear in holiday brochures, travel agents and on travel websites. It was estimated that around 200 Tourism Ministers attended the exhibition along with representatives from the world's travel and tourism industry. In 2010 it was estimated than around £1,425 million worth of business was conducted. This year's show was of special importance for the UK Travel and tourism industry ahead of the Olympic Games in 2012 and the official opening of WTM was conducted by the UK Olympics Minister Mr. Jeremy Hunt. |

India recorded its biggest presence this year with 125 exhibitors taking part. Incredible India is to chair the UN South Asian Regional Commission for tourism making strong roads in the global tourism arena. Sustainable tourism has long been championed by WTM and the financial crisis has put the topic back at the top of the agenda. Mr. Kunal Singh, GM Sales - Travel Trade, Udaipur, Ms. Sabina Bailey, Public Affairs and Marketing Consultant, London and Mr. Yashwant Sinh Jadeja, General Manager, Sales USA joined Ms. Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur, Executive Director Marketing, USA at the exhibition.

9th Meeting of Consultative Committee of Members of Parliament for Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India
On the 15th November Ministry of Road Transport and Highways headed by Dr. C.P. Joshi, Hon'ble Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Government of India held the 9th Meeting of Consultative Committee of Members of Parliament for Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India on Operation and Maintenance of the National Highways on their Action Plan at the Sabhagaar Conference Hall, The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace Convention Centre, Udaipur. 55 delegates attended the meeting.
Lunch was arranged at Satkar Banquet Hall, The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace Convention Centre, Udaipur.
