2. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur flagged of a rally organized to arouse awareness about diabetes. The rally started from RNT Medical College, Udaipur and made its way towards Delhi Gate, Surajpole, Town Hall and back to College. The event was a joint effort of Rotary Club, Udaipur and Hindustan Zinc Limited, Vedanta Group. Students from different schools and colleges joined the rally bearing flags and voicing slogans in support of the cause.

1. Accepting an invitation from Mr. Asif Bhamla, Bhamla Foundation, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the DY Patil Annual Achievers Award held at Hotel Taj Lands, Bandra West, Mumbai. The Awards is to recognises, rewards and honours individuals with exceptional leadership qualities who have brought glory to the nation through their sustained efforts. This is the first edition of the awards by Dr. DY Patil Group in association with Asif Bhamla Foundation. Mr. Uddhav Thakeray, Mr. and Mrs. Shashi Tharoor, Mr. Chagan Bhujabal from political fraternity Mr. Salman Khan, Ms. Deepika Padukone, bollywood stars and other dignitaries graced with their presence.
