1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the Night Cricket Tournament held at Fatehnagar organized by Mewar Initiators, Fatehnagar. Mr. Mewar distributed prizes to the winners of the tournament.

Study of Bio-Electro Magnetic Energies at The City Palace Complex, Udaipur
Undertaking an assignment commissioned by MMCF M/s Syenergy Environics Ltd., New Delhi has been studying the Bio Electro Magnetic Energies at The City Palace Complex, Udaipur and its impact on people and functions. This study project encompasses the progressive history of the construction of the City Palace Complex linking it to the well being of the people working in it and using different venues. The study focuses on the health of people mapping out the Geopathic Stresses (magnetic lines-also called Hartmann Lines) and the underground water streams and effects of Vaastu or elemental energy disturbance. Findings have provided an insight as to how heritage buildings can be planned for modern usage.
Phase 4 undertaken between the 30th May and the 4th of June concentrated on energy levels and corrected any disturbances that might have resulted from renovation or changes to ensure positive energy levels are maintained.

Exhibition of Books at The City Palace, Udaipur
Maharana Mewar Historical Publications Trust, held an Exhibition and Sale of Books at the Sabha Shiromani Ka Darikhana, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur for 6 days from the 20th to 25th June. A wide range of books were on display on the History of Mewar, Maharana Pratap, Bhaktimati Meera Bai, the History of Rajasthan, a number of books on Hindi and English Literature as well as books on religion, architecture and arts and crafts. The exhibition was supported by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation.

Rana Pratap Jayanti Celebration
In keeping with tradition, Rana Pratap Jayanti was celebrated this year at the Rai Angan, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur on the 4th June. Rana Pratap's coloured sculpture was decorated with flowers and displayed on an open litter at Nikka ki Chopad, with all his weapons, Sword, Patta, Shield, Spear, Bow and Arrows, Gun and body armour. The Palace was illuminated over the two nights of celebration on the 3rd and 4th June. All visitors to the Museum were presented with a Lapel Pin as a Souvenir and Prasad (Sweets blessed from the temple) were distributed.
