Taameer Society holds its 16th Annual Award function
On the 19th April 2009, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was Chief Guest at the Taameer Society's Annual Award Function that recognises people for their selfless contribution to society. At their 16th annual award ceremony Mr. Mewar commended the Society for its tradition of awarding people who devote their lives to helping others.
The occasion was presided over by Dr. M. S. Agwani, Ex Vice Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Shri M. S. Meena (IRS), Regional Income Tax Officer, Udaipur was the principal speaker for the event. Mohammed Tariq Khan (RAS), Protocol Officer and Alhaz Shabbir K. Mustafa, Social Worker and MD, Royal Motors were the special guests for the occasion.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched 3G service
On the 21st April 2009 Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur launched the 3G service of BSNL at The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur. On the occasion Mr. B K Karecha, General Manager, Telecommunication said that this service would facilitate the user with Wireless Broadband Service, TV Relay Service and Video Call Service.

Achievement of the Group

Gajner Palace, Gajner awarded National Tourism Award in Heritage Category
Special recognition was paid to Mr. Madan Singh Shekhawat, Executive General Manager, Northern region by the inhabitants of Gajner when Gajner Palace was awarded the National Tourism Award in Heritage Category.
Mr. Shekhawat also received a letter of congratulations from Mr. U C Kochar an Advocate from the Rajasthan High Court who wrote that the achievement was a result of the hard work and dedication by Mr. Shekhawat and his team and the farsightedness of Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur.
