Amongst leading national and regional associations that support the event were the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR) and Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA), RATO, FHRAI, HAI, TAAI, TAFI, SIHRA. Mr. Ashok Gehlot, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Rajasthan inaugurated the travel mart on 19th April 2009.

India is a world class tourism destination and the event provides delegates with an opportunity to interact with foreign buyers, registered Indian sellers, policy makers, investors and members of the media. It is estimated that this year over 100 key foreign tour operators, from over 40 countries, attended the Travel Bazaar. HRH Group of Hotels participates at South Asia Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE)
For the 16th consecutive year “SATTE”was held at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from the 23rd -25th April 2009. Ms. Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur, Joint Managing Director, HRH Group of Hotels participated at SATTE with Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Chief of Operations, Security ; Mr. Sanjay Nischal, Manager, Sales & Marketing, New Delhi; Mr. Adityaveer Singh, General Manager, Group Operations; Ms. Gazala Singh, Manager, Culture and Heritage Promotion ; Mr. Kunal Singh, Manager, Sales & Marketing, Udaipur and Mr. Vikram Singh Bhati, Assistant Manager, Central Reservations.

The event was organised under the patronage of the Union Tourism Ministry and witnessed the participation of over a dozen leading hotels in the capital. It is considered a model of public private partnership in the Indian Travel industry and the three day exhibition showcased a wide range of tourism products under one roof. Inaugurated in 1994 SATTE remains the single biggest gathering in the country that brings together buyers and sellers from the travel and tourism sector. Thirteen countries exhibited their products with 225 tour operators visiting the exhibition from around the globe. The exhibition was spread over an area of over 5,300 square metres and comprised of more than 600 Stands.
