On the southern side of Jas Prakash Gallery further is the Som Niwas Gallery: "Divine Gesture - The Magnificence of Mewar Spirituality". The gallery presents a representative history of the stone sculptures from in and around Shree Eklingnath ji Temple, which follows the Gurjara-Pratihara style of temple building. The Gurjara-Pratihara clans, which ruled much of Northern India from the 6th to 11th Century, were great patrons of art, architecture and literature. Out of the 308 sculptures which are in collection in The City Palace Museum, Udaipur this gallery presents 105 sculptures classified under four thematic sections: the Gods, the Surasundaries, the Goddesses and the animal motifs / memorial stones. The classification is based on the representative nature of the collection.

In the international exhibition entitled 'Spirituality and Erotism in Indian Art: the Kamasutra' held at The Pinnacotheque de Paris, France from October 2014 to January 2015, 8 sculptures were sent from the City Palace Museum, Udaipur.
