On 18th March 2026, Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar accorded a warm and traditional Mewari welcome to Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, honoring the age-old Guru-Shishya (teacher-disciple) bond. The reception reflected Mewar's long standing commitment to hospitality and cultural values rooted in Sanatani tradition. Dr. Mewar observed that Mewar has been celebrated worldwide for its ideals and steadfast devotion to truth. He noted that by following the principle of Atithi Devo Bhava 'The guest is God', Mewar has continually brought honor and prestige to the region. He referred the the Crest of the State of Mewar with its motto inscribed- "The Almighty protects those who stand Steadfast in upholding righteousness." Sadhguru praised Shriji's exceptional hospitality and reverence, and bestowed blessings for him to "remain steadfast in truth, just as Maharana Pratap did," and to "be victorious."

Shriji Graces Closing Ceremony of Gogunda's Gangaur Fair

Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of Gogunda's traditional three-day Gangaur Fair on 23rd March 2026. Accompanied by his family, he offered prayers to Goddess Gangaur and received honours in accordance with Mewari tradition. Shriji remarked that such fairs play an important role in preserving and sustaining the region's cultural heritage. On the final day, the Gangaur Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Master Haritraj Singh Mewar, Miss Mohlakshika Kumari Mewar, Miss Praneshwari Kumari Mewar, and other dignitaries at the Gogunda Gangaur Fair royal procession commenced from the Charbhuja Temple, accompanied by musical bands and bedecked camels and horses. Member of the Legislative Assembly from Gogunda, Mr. Prataplal Gameti, and District President Mr. Pushkar Teli described the festivities as a symbol of social unity. Folk artists enthralled the audience with performances of Gair, Ghoomar, Kalbelia, and Manganiyar singing, reinforcing the cultural spirit of the occasion. The fair was organised by district administration and tourism department.
