Surya Prakash
|
Surya Prakash was built by Maharana Swarup Singh (r. 1842 - 1861 CE) as an
enclosed gallery on the first floor of the Swarup Vilas with a series of cusped
arches overlooking the Manek Chowk. The gallery links the Bheem Vilas with the
Pitam Niwas.

On November 14, 2024, the City Palace Museum in Udaipur celebrated Children's
Day by hosting two remarkable school visits that exemplified its commitment to
inclusive education and cultural engagement. The first visit welcomed 155
students and caretakers from Mook Badhir Vidhyalay, Bhilwara and the second
visit featured 160 students from Government Girls Senior Secondary School
(formerly Shambhu Ratna Pathshala) |
