The City Palace, Udaipur, was honored to host a visit by Admiral Radhakrishnan Hari Kumar, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy, on 08th January, 2024. Accompanied by his wife, the Admiral was warmly welcomed by Dr. Mayank Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation. During his tour, the Admiral explored the rich history and architectural brilliance of the City Palace. He visited key locations like the Salehkhana Gallery, Rai Angan, Mor Chowk in Mardana Mahal, Amar Mahal Gallery showcasing exquisite silverwork, the Crystal Gallery, and the Durbar Hall in Fateh Prakash Palace. Impressed by his experience, Admiral Hari Kumar penned a heartfelt message in the visitor's book: "Delighted to visit this ancient cultural and architectural marvel that puts forward our historical achievements to the current and future generation. The artifacts are well preserved and serve to inspire the visitors. My compliments to the Trustee office bearers, guides, and the staff who maintain the museum in a spotless manner. My best wishes to the entire team. JAI Bharat." Later in the evening Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation hosted Admiral R. Hari Kumar, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy and his wife Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar, President of the Navy Welfare and Wellness Association. The discussion covered a wide range of issues. Admiral R. Hari Kumar expressed his deep admiration for the legacy of the region, emphasizing their unwavering bravery, valor and sacrifice for the nation.
