The City Palace Preface
Rai Angan is the earliest Royal courtyard of The City Palace, Udaipur. It was built by Maharana Udai Singh II (r.1536-1572 CE) in the 16th century. Rai Angan is on the second floor where Maharana Udai Singh started building the Palace on the top of the hill in 1559 after the foundation of the city of Udaipur was laid in 1553 on advise of Goswami Prem Giriji Maharaj.
 
 
Contribution of Mewar to Astrology and Astronomy
MMCF organized a symposium "Contribution of Mewar to Astrology and Astronomy" on the 14th January 2023 at MMCF Conference Hall, The City Palace, Udaipur, In the modern times, various families are following astrological practises from generation to generation and serving the Mewar region.
 
Exhibition opening - Saleh Khana

A soft opening of the much awaited Saleh Khana arms exhibition was undertaken on 16th January 2023, as per the prescribed auspicious time. The exhibition features some never seen before arms and armour from the collection of the Museum.

Art Adventure is a monthly series of workshops organized onsite at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur under the aegis of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur.

 
7th Guinness World Record

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the 7th time, in which he has sown 21058 seeds in 40 minutes.
