International Training Programme

Ms. Anuja Mukherjee, Art Conservator, The City Palace
Museum, Udaipur got shortlisted for a Continuing
Professional Development Programme to be organised by
the Institute of Conservation (Icon), London, UK from 9th to
16th June 2019. The Getty Foundation has awarded Icon a
grant to provide 12 participants from countries with
emerging economies an opportunity to attend this training
programme in London and Icon's 2019 Triennial Conference
in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
She will be representing The City Palace Museum, Udaipur,
Rajasthan, India at the International Training Programme.
As a part of the programme, Ms.
Mukherjee will be visiting
private conservation studios of
experienced painting and textile
conservators and conservation
laboratories of two worldrenowned organisations - The
British Museum and The
National Archives. As a
participant of this programme,
she will be attending Icon's
Triennial Conference which
Ms. Anuja Mukherjee
focuses current thinking in conservation
practice and sustainable solutions to address current
working requirements in the conservation field. The Getty
grant covers all the costs of her attendance at the
programme.'
