Visit of Major General T. K. Aich

Major General T. K. Aich, General Officer Commanding 12 RAPID accompanied by his wife and other army officials visited The City Palace, Udaipur. Maj. Gen. was as greeted by Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Administrator in Chief, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation and were briefed by the history of Mewar. The guests visited Mardana Mahal, Zenana Mahal, Amar Mahal Gallery: Splendour of Silver - Reflecting the finest of Silver smithy and Gokul Niwas Gallery: The Curtain Raiser - The Mewar Regalia Textiles and Costumes Exhibition. The guests had a brief interaction with Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur on 25th February 2019.

Visit of Dr. Norbert Peabody and Ms. Annie Buddle

Ms. Annie Buddle, FSA Scot, Collection Advisor, National Galleries of Scotland, UK and Dr. Norbert Peabody, University of Cambridge, UK visited the Maharana Mewar Special Library, The City Palace, Udaipur on 26th February 2019. Dr. Mayank Gupta, Deputy Secretary - Development, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation briefed the development and work of the library.
