The restoration work of NE area of Lakshmi Chowk at Zenana Mahal that started in June 2017 is under process. The work finished in the month of March 2018.

Installation of Mobile Scissor Lift

Mobile Scissor Lift with a railed platform that can be raised straight up till 50 feet that will allow workers to transfer Paintings at areas high above ground level without any concern for balance that they would have to exercise if they were using a ladder. Hydraulic Lift is of great help in the movement of museum artefacts from Mardana and Zenana Mahal to the Conservation laboratory. It ensures safety of the fragile museum artefacts through minimum physical handling (Less Jerks and Vibrations), avoids risk of accidents (Narrow staircases, sharp turns & low arches) and saves time.
