At the book launch of "An era of darkness- The British empire in India"

Accepting an invitation from Prabha Khaitan Foundation and Cultural Rendezvous, Shriji attended the book release function "An Era of Darkness- The British Empire in India" by Dr. Shashi Tharoor at Radisson Blu Udaipur Palace Resort and Spa, Udaipur.

In the book Dr. Tharoor has briefed how the British Empire was responsible for reducing India, one of the world's richest countries in the 17th century, to one of the poorest in the 20th century. The event was attended by Mr. Sundeep Bhutoria, Trustee, Prabha Khaitan Foundation, Ms. Padmaja Kumari Parmar, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Mrs. Nivritti Kumari Mewar and other dignitaries.
