Sat, 14 March A lively procession with luxuriously adorned horses, musical band and security guards from the City Palace was carried out on the occasion of Sheetala Ashtami. Sheetala Ashtami is celebrated after 8 days of the Holi festival wherein many Hindu families do not light a fire on
this day and eat only pre-cooked cold food.The procession started from City Palace's Tripoliya and concluded at Sheetala Mata Temple. Devotees, both men and women, participated in the procession and observed Pooja-Archana of the Goddess. Mon, 16 March

Chaitra Navratri or Chait Navratras, as the name indicates is observed during the Chaitra month (March – April) in the traditional Hindu calendar used in North India. The festival is dedicated to the Goddess Shakti. It begins on the first day of the Chaitra month with sthapana and ends with Asthami Hawan and Mataji Prasthan on Ram Navami that was on the 27th March 2015. Smt. Vijayraj Kumari Mewar attended the pooja ceremony and rituals on Asthami.
