Launching 'Darbar' music of Kishangarh

Accepting an invitation from Maharaja Sahib Brajraj Singh ji of Kishangarh, Shriji attended the launch of 'Rare Darbar Music of Kishangarh' CD at Hotel Dusit Devarana, Samalkha, New Delhi. Shriji was Guest of Honour at the event. The 4 pack CD of Rare Darbar Music of Kishangarh recorded by the late His Highness of Kishangarh is an amalgamation of live music recorded in the darbars of Bikaner, Jaipur, Udaipur and Kishangarh in the 1950s and sung by nightingales of the courts of that era: Lalita Bai (Kishangarh), Allah Jilai Bai (Bikaner), Gauhar Jaan Niyazi (Jaipur) and Gauri Bai (Jodhpur). Besides Shriji, Maharaj Jai Singh of Jaipur, Princess Siddhi Kumari of Bikaner, Maharaj Raghuvendra Singh Rathore from Jodhpur and Princess Sarveshwari Kumari of Kishangarh represented their courts from the bygone era. The CD was launched in association with Music Today.
