Being covered for an art & culture-rich documentary film

Shriji was filmed for a documentary by Nottingham based artist and film maker Mr. Frank Abbot who was invited by the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation's consulting curator Dr. Alka Pande for the new sculpture gallery 'Devine Gesture The magnificence of Mewar spirituality', to be opened on the 14th of March 2014. Divine Gesture will comprise of 47 sculptures primarily from the Gurjara Pratihara period.

The ten minute documentary will showcase the art and historical context of Mewar and bring to the viewers and visitors of The City Palace Museum, the rich and vibrant tradition of Mewar. The documentary works like a 'sutradhar' or story teller inviting the people to look into the sculptures with a deeper insight and draw their own aesthetic pleasure.
