At the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Akshay Pratishthan

Shriji accepted an invitation from Ms. Aruna Dalmia, Chairperson, Akshay Pratishthan, to attend as Chief Guest, celebration of 25 years of growth of Akshay Pratishthan at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi.

The event was inaugurated by Kumari Selja, Hon'ble Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India and Shriji lit the lamp. Ms. Aruna Dalmia greeted the guests with a warm welcome speech and remarks from Prof. Dinesh Singh, Vice Chancellor, University of Delhi. Shriji released their souvenir and addressed the audience. The event then followed with a wonderful ballet performance 'Shiva Vivaha' by the students of Akshay Pratishthan. Vote of thanks was presented by Ms. Sangeeta Dalmia, Secretary, Akshay Pratishthan.

Akshay Pratishthan was set up as a unique 'experiment' in inclusion and inclusive education. It has expanded to become a rehabilitation centre supporting more than 450 children. Akshay Pratishthan is well known for its academics as well as vocational training, medical care and employment opportunities.
