Visit of Lt. Gen. D. S. Thakur

On the 24th January Lt. Gen. D. S. Thakur accompanied by his family visited The City Palace, Udaipur where he was greeted by Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Deputy Secretary MMCF – Administration, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation. In the museum visitor's book Lt. Gen. Thakur wrote “A great work of art and well maintained historical record of our great nation”

Visit of Ms. Deepa Malik

On the 27th January Ms. Deepa Malik, Aravali Awardee 2012 of the Maharana of Mewar Foundation Annual Awards visited the City Palace Udaipur. Ms. Malik, a physically challenged contender was on a motivational drive from Delhi to Ajmer-Udaipur-Ahemedabad-Baroda- Gir- Somnath-Dwarka- Jamnagar- Rann of Kutch and back to Delhi. Ms. Malik is participating in an outdoor adventure programme aimed at promoting road driving as an experience for the physically challenged.

Visit of delegates from Santa Barbara Museum of Art, California, U.S.A.

On the 30th January Ms. Lisa Hill, Manager of Travel & Special Programs, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, California, USA and Special Delegates from Santa Barbara Museum of Art, California, USA visited the City Palace Museum, Udaipur where they were greeted by Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Deputy Secretary MMCF – Administration, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation.
