Professor Bhalla researches and teaches family business models at Cass. He commented: "Mr. Mewar's family has held legendary status in India over many centuries. His visit to Cass is of huge significance as business leaders in the City and beyond are facing an uphill battle to rebuild reputation and restore public trust. Senior executives have lessons to learn from Mr. Mewar's story. They need to think and act like custodians. If they can move away from short-term thinking and consider the implications of their actions in the long-term, they will be able to both create company and personal reputations that last and prosper.
