Friday 14th December,
1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur was the Chief Guest at a programme launch on behalf of the inauguration of The Surgical Microscope Eye Care Project at Alak Nayan Mandir. Through a corresponding grant donated by The Rotary Foundation with their Matching Partner, Rotary Club of Georgetown, Suncity, USA, the Rotary club of Udaipur Heritage donated a machine costing 17.50 Lakh to Dr. L.S. Jhala, Director, Alakh Nayan Mandir. This new imported machine from Germany has the capacity to perform 2000 cataract, cornea and retina operations each year. The Guest of honour for the event was PDG Shri Pramod Vij – Dist.3080.
Rtn. Anubhav Ladia, Project Chairman; Rtn. Gajendra Suyal, President; Rtn. Ajay Sabla, Secretary and Rtn. Deepak Sukhadia, Project Co-coordinator from the Rotary Club of Udaipur Heritage were also present for occasion. The event was held at the Zenana Mahal, The City Palace, Udaipur.
