1. Nawabzada Sultan Salauddin Khan Babi of Balasinor called on Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur at Shambhu Niwas Palace, Udaipur to film him as part of a reality documentary. The film featuring Nawabzada is about an undercover Prince and Princess that will be shown on the TLC channel in the USA. It features 4 princes, from different parts of the world living in the USA who work at odd jobs, meeting people and trying to find love but without revealing their identities.

Guide Orientation Programmes
MMCF organised a number of Guide orientation programmes on the 6th and 13th July at the MMCF Conference Hall, COMPO, The City Palace Complex, Udaipur. The guide orientation programme is a step towards fulfilling the MMCF's objective to create awareness and educate the guides at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur, about the history of Mewar and other topics relating to Environment conservation.

15 Guides attended a day's programme on the 6th June that was presided over by Dr. Mahesh Sharma an environmentalist, photographer working as a Senior Lecturer of Commerce, Business Administration at the Govt. Meera Girls PG College, Udaipur. Dr. Sharma briefed the guides on the subject of “Water Resource Management”

On the 13th July Mr. Vilas Janve, Senior Programme Officer with West Zone Cultural Center, Udaipur addressed the guides on Art and Culture of Mewar. A group of 20 guides attended the session.

A Seminar on Laser Scanner Surveys and Diagnostic Analysis for Restoration, Enhancement and Interpretation of Architectural Cultural Heritage
The team from MMCF comprising of Mr. Vijay Choudhary, Dy. General Manager I.T. and Mr. Alok Upadhyay, Asst. Manager Photographic Studio attended a three day seminar on “Laser Scanner Surveys and Diagnostic Analysis for Restoration, Enhancement and Interpretation of Architectural Cultural Heritage” at Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur and at Fort Nagaur, Nagaur – Rajasthan from the 7th to 9th July 2012.
