1. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the closing ceremony of a 15 day coaching camp for Under 19 players jointly organized by Udaipur District Cricket Association and Mohanlal Sukhadia University where 126 players participated in the camp. Mr. Mewar commended the coaches for their work. Prof. I.V. Trivedi, Vice-Chancellor, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur was Chief Guest. Mr. Vivekbhan Singh, Mr. Madhusudhan Singh, Mr. Kuldeep Mathur and Mr. Manoj Choudhary from the Udaipur Cricket Association were also present.

Rana Pratap Jayanti Celebration
In keeping with tradition, Rana Pratap Jayanti was celebrated this year at the Rai Angan, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur on the 24th May. Rana Pratap's coloured sculpture was decorated with flowers. All visitors to the Museum were presented with a Lapel Pin as a Souvenir and Prasad (Sweets blessed from the temple) were distributed.
Celebrations also took place at the statue of Maharana Pratap at Pratap Prangan, Dabok Airport that was established by Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation 3 years ago.

The City Palace Museum, Udaipur development in 2011-12
The City Palace Museum, Udaipur continues to be one of the finest and best maintained private museums in this country. Featured recently on NDTV 24X7 in a special episode of their show 'India Matters' titled 'Making Museums Matter' on the occasion of International Museums Day, the City Palace Museum has been featured as an exemplary institution in a country where the general state of museums is alarming. The museum has undertaken several outreach activities and also launched a number of exhibitions during 2011-2012. Cataloguing and documentation work continues with excellent progress and has been augmented and enriched with scholarly inputs.

1. Lectures with PPT presentations on paintings of Mewar during guide training sessions.
