Aahar International Food and Hospitality Fair 2012
'Aahar' the 27th International Food and Hospitality fair was held at Pragati Maidan New Delhi from the 12th to 16th March. The exhibition was divided into two independent shows viz. 'FOOD INDIA' covering food, the processed food sector and 'HOSPITALITY INDIA' representing hotel & restaurant, bakery & confectionery equipment and supplies. Aahar has been recognized as one of the leading events of its kind in Asia.
Mr. Piyush Vardhan Saxena from Purchase & Inventory, Mr. Love Mathur from F&B Production & Mr. Pushkar Raj Menaria from House Keeping of HRH Group of Hotels visited the fair.
The fair was supported by Ministry of Food Processing Industries (Govt. of India) & Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA)
in Co-association by Association of Resource Companies for the Hospitality Industry of india (ARCHII). Hotel & Restaurant Equipment Manufacturers' Association of India (HOTREMAI) and All India Food Processors' Association (AIFPA).

The Aodhi Re Classified as 3Star Hotel
The Hotel Classification team led by Mr. T. W. Sudhakar - Director India Tourism Jaipur; Mr. Sameer Shah, Executive Chef, Lake Palace; Mrs. Sangeeta Sehgal, Principal, Food Craft Institute, Udaipur; Mr. Virendra Singh, General Manager, Rajasthan Tours reclassified The Aodhi, Kumbhalgarh with Three Star category for the next 5 years. Mr. Adityaveer Singh, General Manager - Group Operations; Mr. Kunal Singh, GM - Sales, Travel Trade; Mr. Ummed Singh Karnot, Manager - The Aodhi, Kumbhalgarh and Mr. Akhil Ranjan, Executive Chef represented HRH Group of Hotels. |

Exhibition of books by Maharana Mewar Historical Publications Trust
Maharana Mewar Historical Publications Trust, Udaipur organized a 5 day exhibition and sale of books from the 20th March to 24th March on various subjects relating to the History of Mewar; Art & Culture and General Literature at Sabha Shiromani ka Darikhana, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. The exhibition was supported by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation.
