The exhibition accompanies a new book, copiously illustrated by Lilah's photographs. Written by Ms. Jessica Douglas-Home, Lilah Wingfield's granddaughter, the book draws on unique archive material that illuminates a fascinating chapter of the Anglo-Indian relationship whilst being ever mindful of some of its more problematic aspects.
