• On the 14th April 2009 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted cocktails for Ms. Karen Helen Knorr. Ms. Knorr is a German-born Canadian, now living in London. She uses words and pictures to form social commentaries to convey her fictional interpretations. Knorr creates scenes in narrative series which together form a large statement; each set of photograph and text becoming a component in the final picture. The other guests for the cocktails included Mr. Geoffrey Paul Blight, Mr. Richard Hanlon and Ms. Patricia Anne Mcfarlane and Ms. Meera Michal Wolfe, a writer and Marketing Consultant from the USA.

• On the 15th April 2009 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted cocktails for Professor and Mrs. Jean-Marc De Leersnyder after which Mr. Richard Hanlon, Ms. Patricia Mcfarlane and Ms. Meera Wolfe joined Shriji for dinner.

• Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur travelled to Singapore to attend the marriage that took place on the 19th April 2009 between Ambikadevi, daughter of Maharaj Durgapratapsinh Sisodia & The Late Rani Meenakshidevi of Pratapgarh and Manik, son of Shriman Subhash & The Late Shrimati Neelam Arora at The Waterfall Terrace, Shangri-la Hotel, Singapore. The wedding ceremony was followed by lunch at The Garden Terrace, Shangri-la Hotel. In the evening cocktails and dinner were held at The Tower Ballroom, Shangri-la Hotel. The wedding celebrations started with Mehendi and Sangeet on 18th April 2009 at The Lake View Room, Jurong Bird Park, Singapore.
