• Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur was amongst delegates who attended the Fifth Hotel Investment Conference - South Asia (HICSA) 2009 that was held on the 1st and 2nd April 2009 at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Over the past four years the conference has played host to 20 global CEO's and more than 1,800 delegates gathering together hotel owners, real estate developers, tour operators, bankers, architects and consultants. This year HICSA attracted some of the best known global faces in the hospitality industry. The conference, attended by many influential decision makers, is regarded by many as the best networking forum in the region offering opportunities for business development facilitating meetings via an innovative live networking tool 'HICSA live wire'.

• Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur was invited on the 3rd April 2009 by Sir Anthony Bamford, Chairman of JCB Bamford Excavators Ltd and Mr. Mathew Taylor, Group CEO to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Backhoe Loader at their largest manufacting plant of this digger in Haryana. The day's programme included a display and demonstration of their range of heavy line construction equipment and their Dancing Diggers and was followed by lunch.

• On 4th April 2009 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur met Mr. Samit Garg, CEO, E-Factor Entertainment (P) Ltd., New Delhi regarding Hot Air Ballooning. Mr. Garg gave the proposal to start Hot Air Ballooning in Udaipur from November 2009

• On the 4th April 2009 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur met Ms. Jasmeet Chowdhary, Director, Sales and Marketing, The Leela Kempinski, Udaipur and Mr. Tamir Kabrin, General Manager, The Leela Kempinski, Udaipur at Shambhu Niwas Palace, Udaipur.

• On the 5th April 2009 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur met Mr. Vikramsinh Jadeja, Government approved folk artist of Paghdi and Safa to talk about establishing a permanent exhibition of Turbans at the City Palace Museum, Udaipur.
