There are only two airworthy Super Constellation aircraft surviving in the world. Breitling owns one of them. This former Lockheed aircraft reigned as 'Queen of the skies' from 1955 the year of its manufacture until it was superseded by the jet era beginning in the early 60's. The Super Constellation was the luxury passenger aircraft prior to long haul jet aeroplanes. It operated using four piston engines. It was on display at Buochs airfield where it took delegates on a demonstration flight.
